[starttext]Motorcycle Zone Video - It has always looked sporty, but Aprilia is making the 2011 Aprilia Shiver 750 appear even sportier by revising the handlebar position, narrowing the seat by two inches and moving the footpegs back. The 750cc, 90-degree V-twin engine boasts 95 horsepower, giving the Shiver a top speed of 130 miles per hour. A narrower 5.5X17-inch rear tire is designed to improve handling. Dry weight will be a reported 416 pounds. Considering what other Italian-made bikes cost, the Shiver 750 seems reasonable at $8,999. In releasing details of the Shiver 750, Aprilia reported that it will be available in either black or silver. So why the publicity photos showing the bike in red? Unless the accompany picture is actually of a black model – with red accents.
